What is this?

DayXGuitar is one person learning guitar from absolute zero, in public, one day at a time.

No music background. No shortcuts. No pretending to be a teacher. Every practice day gets a number and a video — the mistakes, the frustration, the tiny breakthroughs, the occasional day where something finally clicks. Day 1 was genuinely Day 1.

So far there are 155 days on the timeline, and the plan is simple: keep going. For years. The point isn't any single video — it's what happens when you line hundreds of them up and watch a complete beginner slowly turn into someone who can actually play.

How it works

Practice happens daily and each day's Short lands on YouTube at the same time every evening. Sometimes there's a live practice session — raw, unedited, whatever happens happens. The numbered Shorts are the edited story; the Lives are the messy reality, when they happen.

Why do this publicly?

Accountability, mostly. It's very hard to quietly give up on something when a numbered public record says you've shown up 155 days in a row. And if watching a genuinely average person struggle through the awkward phase helps someone else start — or restart — even better. If I can do this, you definitely can.
